Leanne has joined the team as a Junior Client and Marketing Assistant. Her experience in Marketing and client care means she will expertly assist clients and contribute to the overall success of the firm, helping bring their strategies to life.
She has one year’s experience within a Marketing role, and 7 years in a client orientated role with particular expertise in providing exceptional services to clients as well as contributing creatively within a marketing team.
In 2020, Leanne graduated in Business and Marketing from Bangor University. During her studies, she carried out voluntary work for a non-for-profit organisation and her marketing campaigns generated direct success for the company.
In Leanne’s spare time, she enjoys socialising with her friends, going out for food and going to the gym.
Katie has completed an Applied Law and Business course at South Trafford College with a 3 A* equivalent. This course covers multiple areas of Law and Business such as Employment Law, Contract Law, Aspects of Civil Liability, Business Communications and more.
Katie works with us at MLP as a full time Legal Assistant. She has her long term goals set out for her upon completion of her Legal Assistant role here with MLP. After her 18 months she is hoping to progress through the company working her way up through qualifications, eventually becoming a solicitor.
In Katie’s spare time she enjoys being with friends and family, going to the gym, going for meals and watching films.
Vicky graduated from Lancaster University with a 2:1 honors degree in Marketing and French. Vicky has over 17 years commercial property experience and has been a member of the Real Estate and Built Environment team at MLP since 2014, coming from DLA Piper.
Outside of the office, Vicky loves spending time with her family, reading and music. She has been a member of Flixton Brass Band for 10 years and plays the Flugel Horn.
Anna started out as an office junior and trained on the job. She gained her ILCA diploma and became MLP’s Accounts manager. Anna’s long term experience at MLP gives her good knowledge of the companies DNA and values. Anna loves the variety of her work, and no two days are the same.
Outside of the office Anna is kept busy by her young son and 2 pet dogs Olly & Teddy.
Alissa started at MLP as the firm’s Administrative Assistant in 2014. Since then, Alissa has progressed through the firm and is now working in the MLPower team as the firm’s Operations Manager.
Alissa manages and is involved in the everyday running of the firm and enjoys the challenge that her role offers. No two days are ever the same and this is something that highly motivates and drives Alissa to provide excellent service to our clients every day.
Alissa enjoys the warmer climates, and has lived in 7 different countries varying through Europe and Asia. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, having dinners out and relaxing with her friends.
Leanne Sodergren is the Owner of MLP Law and leads our Commercial, IP and Dispute Resolution teams which provide advice on all aspects of the law relating to mergers, acquisitions, financing, re-structuring, complex commercial contracts, standard trading terms, share options, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial dispute resolution, joint venture and partnering arrangements, IT and Technology law, Intellectual Property, EU and competition law, Brexit and GDPR.
Stephen has over 20 years’ experience advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious business law and business ownership with a particular specialism in digital, technology, healthcare and family owned businesses. Along with Stephen’s experience in business law and ownership, he also has over 20 years of experience dealing with Dispute Resolution Law such as commercial disputes and litigation cases. Recommended in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, Stephen is renowned for his focus on identifying early on a client’s successful outcome and then relentlessly pursuing that outcome.
Stephen spent over 10 years at a leading city firm before moving to MLP Law. He acquired MLP Law through a MBO in 2014 continuing to develop the firm as a boutique corporate and commercial firm with a specialist private client offering renowned for the quality of its people and its first class client service. During that time Stephen has published a book “Family Business Succession – the options and pitfalls” and raised significant amounts of money for charity.
